Community Development Administrator – The purpose of this position is to administer the Federal Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant and HOME programs, other federal grants through HUD, and State of Wisconsin housing grant programs. Incumbents will create a vision, achieve program goals and objectives and assist in community development related activities.


Economic Development (Administrator) Planner – The purpose of this position is to assist in planning and administering the long- and short-range economic development and redevelopment functions of the city, including business attraction, retention and expansion, managing development and small business assistance programs, workforce development, and talent attraction and retention.

Regional Project Director

La Crosse, WI

The Regional Project Director is a full-time position responsible for opening a new WWBIC office. Once the office is functioning, the Project Director will have responsibility for overall coordination and expansion of WWBIC’s small business education and programming for the southwest region. They will implement and direct education and outreach initiatives to meet deliverables, supervise and coach staff and volunteers, serve as liaison on partner/funder/co-provider teams that serve clients in the region, and develop, maintain and expand local and regional partnerships. In addition the Director will work collaboratively with WWBIC Staff and Advisory Council, and represent or speak on behalf of WWBIC at community or professional events.

Regional Office Coordinator

La Crosse, WI

The Regional Office Coordinator is responsible for administrative, program and community outreach support for the southwest region of Wisconsin. The Coordinator will help establish and maintain a professional & friendly environment in the office and will be the first point of contact for all phone calls and guests. They will have responsibility for a variety of administrative and technical tasks that support our educational programming, events and regional staff. This may include class preparation & set up of online or in-person training, collecting payments & required forms, coordinating meeting materials, reminder calls/texts, event/class promotion, and attending classes or events on behalf of WWBIC. In addition they will help fill classes through outreach, recruiting volunteers and sharing the story of WWBIC. 

Small Business Consultant

La Crosse, WI

This full-time position is responsible for delivery and coordination of WWBIC’s small business assistance programs in our Southwest market. Core responsibilities include providing consistent business and financial consultation, advice and guidance to WWBIC loan clients to support the growth and development of their start up and existing small businesses. The Consultant will conduct business site visits and perform comprehensive reviews of business plans including marketing, financial statements, and projections. They will work with WWBIC clients to develop action plans to achieve business goals and monitor progress. In addition, they will connect clients with partners, mentors and opportunities to promote their small business.
